Tomorrow is Not Promised So, Make Each Day Count!

Have you ever said “oh, i’ll just finish up tomorrow” or “I’ll talk to you tomorrow?” I find these words fascinating because tomorrow is not promised yet, we have this assumption we will see a new day. We speak of tomorrow with such causality and reassurance that we forget it is not guaranteed. There are some people who don’t get a new day.  According to ecology.com, 151,600 people die each day. That is 151,600 individuals that did not get a tomorrow! So, what makes you different? you still have today.

Every minute on earth should serve toward your divine destiny. Each day should be filled with peace and contentment with fear of The Lord and gratitude in the heart. The Lord has given you the gift of today and we must not take it for granted. Seize the opportunity and do not be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go [Joshua 1:9].

Today is a blessing and should be treated as such. Go out and enjoy life.  Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? [Matthew 6:27]. Every hour spent complaining, gossiping or thinking negative is time wasted. Life is short and should not be spent meaninglessly. It’s like chasing the wind [ecclesiastes 1:41].
