Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S and every year 44,193 people commit suicide. From a clinical perspective, suicide can be prevented through observing behavior and increasing awareness of symptoms. From a spiritual perspective, suicide is an attack on the soul. There is a spiritual war going on in a natural realm.
Believers, if you ever question and feel like you want to end your life, Don’t. Life gets better. . . because God said so. It has already been written over your life and no human being has the power to change that.
Your current situation will pass, it always does. Time will keep going once you leave earth, it does not stop for you. Suicide is not an answer to any problem.
Your Heavenly Father, makes no mistakes. There is purpose for your life. Who is one to take away what never belonged to them? Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies [1 Corinthians 6:19-20].
You may be going through a difficult time but there is purpose in the pain. Stop listening to The Enemy and start believing in your God. You are uniquely and divinely created. Suicide is part of Satan’s tricks but because of Jesus, through prayer, you are able to overcome anything Satan throws your way.
Thoughts of ‘life would be better for everyone if I were not alive’ or ‘I can’t take this anymore, I want to die’ come from The Enemy. Satan sends these negative thoughts because he knows that he has no power over anyone of God’s children and the only way he can capture their soul is if He convinces them to end their own life.

Pray with me,
Lord, I need you right now. I feel like I am at the end and have nowhere to turn. I can’t handle this situation anymore and I need your help. Please give me the strength to get through the storm and gain understanding to learn from it. Help me to focus on the good even when things are bad. I ask that you fill me with your love when I don’t feel loved by others. Remind me of who I am in Christ and lead me away from evil. Bind me to your will and guide my steps throughout my days. I know that you have plans for me and I trust that you know what is best for me. You will never leave me nor forsaken me for you are with me always. Please remove any thoughts of suicide and cover my heart, mind and soul with your peace. Cleanse me of any unrighteousness and deliver me from evil.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen
