In other words, they are the good apples gone bad. Eve made one of the biggest mistakes in all of mankind, but her legacy is an example of the consequences that can occur from a rotten apple. Snow White is another person who experienced a rotten apple when it was given to her by the wicked witch. But neither a serpent nor witch could keep us from reaching our divine destiny and only faith produces good apples.
