Day One
In my distress I prayed to the Lord; and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me; So I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? – Psalms 118:5-6
When we are feeling pressured, it can create a world of tension for us. A fish can not swim with weights on it’s fins, and we can not live with troubles on our shoulders. When feeling pressured, we have to take a step back and evaluate the situation. Is there a deadline to met? Are we trying to make someone happy? Is there to many things going on at once? We must focus our attention on one thing, The Lord Almighty.
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” – 1 Peter 5:7
Today’s challenge is to Let Go and Let God. When we begin feeling overwhelmed and sense the stress building up, give it to God. There is no problem in the world that is too big for God to handle, and he does not want to see us hurting. God wants us to have a relationship with him where he can help us in our daily lives, with our problems, worries and struggles. When we remember that God is right there beside us, we can rest easy knowing He is watching over us.
