The Art of Allowing

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh” -Galatians 5:13

The Art of Allowing is a practice to help cope with stress, depression and the need to control. The foundation is to learn how to allow* things in your life to unfold, without feeling overwhelmed.  Allow your thoughts to come together before speaking. Allow your mind to focus only on the positive. Allow your ears to listen without judgement. Allow your eyes to see only the good in others. You will become aware of your inner self, and learn to deal with others around you. 

When a fire starts, if you do not put it out correctly the fire will spread. The fire will grow and grow until everything is up in flames. The fire has a mind of it’s own, and it’s only agenda is to burn. We are that fire. We will continue to grow and grow in whatever mood we are in (anger, frustration, annoyance etc…) until we calm ourselves down correctly. We have a mind of our own, and learning to control that will accomplish our agenda of Success.
