Faith Fam, I encourage you to pray, repent and seek understanding. Mankind may not have all the answers but The Lord, almighty does! God did not intend for his creation to live in a world of sin, rather it was a choice made by humans and generations later, we are still reaping the consequences.
The world is at an all time state of Chaos. Between the global pandemic and global protesting, is this the end as we know it? Just a week ago, the news reported that all must remain in doors and not gather in groups more than 10 people. Now, there are hundreds of thousands of people world wide gathering in peaceful protests to bring awareness to police brutality, social injustices and racism.
The Black Lives Matters Movement is the headline of every major news coverage. The #BLM hashtag has millions of tags and stories like George Floyd and Breonna Taylor are trending worldwide to shed truth on the harsh realities of discrimination and abuse of power.
Human rights allow citizens to exercise their Constitutional rights such as the first amendment including, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble, and the right to petition the government. Protesting is a public expression of disapproval and allows the silent majority to have a voice. I’ve seen many different forms of protesting from petitions to looting, but why is God allowing this to happen?
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he he has appointed, Jesus Christ [Acts 17:30]. Everything going on in the world is happening because of sin. Yet, despite all the wrong doing humans have created, God still gives chances. Today, you are given a second- chance. A chance to be made right with your Heavenly Father! Don’t get so caught up in worldly things that you forget your true home in His kingdom.
