So many years of depression make me vision

Those that know me, know that Nas feat Lauryn Hill is my absolute favorite song of all time. The melody, the beat, the lyrics, everything about this song speaks to me. I could listen to this song over and over and feel like it’s the first time. Although, you may not have the ability to rule the world, you do have the power to rule your world. Your are in control of your words, thoughts and behaviors. You have the ability to surround yourself with people you like and remove yourself from those you dislike.

God has given you a Spirit of self-control. This enables you to apply discipline in all areas of your life. You may not be able to spend 6 digits on kicks or take trips to paris, but you do have control over spending and budgeting. Finances are one of the biggest stresses in life, but does it have to be? It is up to you to make wise financial decisions in life.

If God is in control of everything on earth including your finances, would worrying about money change anything? Of course not, worrying does not add a second to your life. In fact, worrying does nothing but waste time and cause distractions. If you know that God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, would you still stress over money? [Philippians 4:19]. Since, God is working in your life for the greater good, even during troubled times, there is no need to stress because God is faithful in keeping his promises.

Imagine a life without worry, doubt, stress, fear or anxiety. A world without crime, murder or sin. A perfect world. The truth is, this does exist and it is God’s kingdom. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit [Romans 14:17].

If you ruled your world, how would you find happiness? peace of mind? love? truth? Since the things of this world will eventually fade away, you must fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal [2 Corinthians 4:18]. With the right level of faith, your imagination can turn into reality. God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us [Ephesians 3:20]. Allow your imagination to run wild and imagine what life would be if you ruled the world! You’d be surprised at what God can do.
