Day 9: Anxiety is a lack of faith

Day 9: Anxiety is a lack of faith

“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” -1 Peter 5:7

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event. It is one of Satan’s many tricks. When we feel anxiety, we feel uneasy because of a lack of faith. Experiencing anxiety is saying to God “I don’t trust you enough to cast all my anxieties on you. I would rather walk on earth carry the heavy loads of stress instead of giving them to you. I would rather spend my time wasting  it than embrace every second of life knowing that you are with me.” This lack of faith is not uncommon, but it must not remain stagnate.

“The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” – Psalm 118:6

Finances are one of the leading causes to the many stresses of life. We focus more on needing money than needing God. When we allow finical burdens or obligations to create anxieties, we become Satan’s pawn piece in his game of chess. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [Philippians 4:6-7].Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. Less Stress and More Faith! Do not be consumed with things outside of your control. Learn to Let Go and Let God.

“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up” – Proverbs 12:25
