The Word of The Day Plan
This defines God. There is nothing that is above God.He is the supreme authority and Most High spiritual being. In the book of Samuel, David prays to God and calls him a Sovereign Lord. Abram also addressed God as Sovereign Lord, in Genesis 15:8. Since, we are aware of Sovereignty we are better equipped to make the decision of which door we want to open. We can open the door of ‘man’ or we can open the door to our Sovereign Lord. Some people may feel they are ‘not good enough’ or ‘don’t know enough’ to open the door to Sovereignty, but I assure you, it is all in your mind. Thoughts of doubt, low self- esteem or unworthiness stem from Satan himself. Theses thoughts would never come from God, because He loves us unconditional. God wants us to open His door so that He can embrace us with his warmth and protection. Today, we will Leave any ungodly thought behind and choose the door leading to The Sovereign Lord.
Following God’s ways may seem restrictive, selective or ‘too complicated’ but it’s not. We may want something, but God knows what we need. He knows what will help us and what will hinder us. God’s way is the best way, always. The struggles, obstacles and hardships have purpose. The good times and bad times play significant roles in our lives, God makes no mistakes. His ways are more than rules or laws. His ways are meant to guide us throughout life. His laws are like maps so that we may know which roads lead to happiness, peace or love. By learning God’s map we can avoid dead end roads. If we do not follow His ways, than we put ourselves in danger for The enemy to swoop in and keep us from our blessings. We are given free will, so it is up to us to decide which door we will open. Today ,Allow this word to be a reminder throughout the day. If God is for us, than who can be against us? [Romans 8:31] Let’s enter the door of our Sovereign Lord and walk with a smile on our face because we know God has purpose for us. His plans are far greater than anything we could ever imagine or want.
Read todays’ verses: 2 Samuel 7:18-21, Genesis 15:13, Romans 8:31
