“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
To be envious is desire a possession, quality or other desirable attribute belonging to someone else. God reminds us in his word that it is common for humans to experience temptation. We live in a fallen world and by nature are sinful. It is easy to do the wrong thing and challenging to do what is right. Just as it easy to wish for something someone else has rather than praying and having faith God will provide. Since God is faithful and knows our needs, there is nothing that we would ever lack and must be aware that when we begin to feel envious, it is just one of Satan’s little tricks. Regardless of the life’s hardships, God will never give us anything we can not bare, and He will always provide a way to escape, but it is up to the individual to choose God’s path.
“But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.” – James 3:14-15
Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms that people use to boast and spread false truth. People post pictures of a lifestyle that is not the reality of their life and they do so, because their not content with their life. People flaunt what they don’t have to impress people they don’t like to get likes. Their bitternesses, jealous and selfishness keeps them from walking in God’s will. These types of people stand in the way of their own blessings. Those who put on a ‘front’ to boast, lack wisdom. They are consumed with fleshly desires and seek to please man. When we attempt to boast or have jealousy in our hearts, we leave no room for God’s desires to fill our hearts. Envy is unspiritual and demonic because it is part of Satan’s tactic. When we have eyes to see and ears to hear we become aware of Satan’s tactics and therefore can overcome them. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good [Romans 12:21].

I like this one actually I enjoy your blog and the topics you posted, but this one standout to me because it is SO TRUE. lol. I agree with you. People front like they have to (on IG) when they don’t have to but they want to appear bigger than what they are in reality. Smh…. I like it
