“The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! “For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” – Genesis 3:4-5
From the beginning of time, we can see that the devil is a liar. Although his words held had some facts, omission is far from the truth. Satan deceived Eve when He tempted her to eat from the tree of good and evil. He had no good intentions when speaking to Eve and His plan was for God’s creation to turn from God. He manipulates the truth and his goal is to take souls with Him in the end.
The devil is and will always be a liar. He is the father of lies. He is deception and intimidation. He twists the truth and His intentions are never pure. Temptation is the fall of mankind and the devil is the source.
When we are aware of Satan’s lies, we will be able to respond. So, the next time someone tries to insult or hurt you, get you angry or tempt you, your response will be “Satan, I rebuke you! Your lies will not manifest over my life, in Jesus name!” Be strong believers! Always be prepared and know the word of God, so you will never be confused or lied too because the truth lives in you.

Amen.
