My future goal is to transform SmileWithFaith into a lifestyle brand. I want to set up an online store and sell products such as shirts, hats and books. I want SmileWithFaith to be a reminder to never lose hope and trust in the Lord even through the struggle. SmileWithFaith is about feeding the soul, becoming self-aware and applying the word of God in everyday life. My dream is to turn SmileWithFaith into a business.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. -Psalm 37:4
But, I do not have any knowledge or background in business. I have never written a business plan; I don’t know how to find investors or even start an online store. The more I learn about business the more I feel that it is impossible to achieve. Yet, I have to remind myself “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” However, it is much easier said than done.
Believers, sometimes we dream big, so big that it feels like we will never achieve our dream. Doubt creeps in, fear takes over and suddenly our hope starts to diminish. Despite all of the negative thoughts, I am reminded one thing . . . to SmileWithFaith. Even if I am not where I want to be, I am thankful I am not where I used to be. Just as I remind myself to never give up, I am here to encourage you to do the same. The truth is that God can do immeasurable more than anything we could ever imagine. The only thing we need to do is be patient, have faith and enjoy the process. There will be many challenges along the way but the key to success is consistency.
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. -Proverbs 16:3
I have faith that one day I will look back at this post and smile knowing that everything I am currently going through had a purpose. Hardships are learning experiences and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Big dreams or small dreams both require work. If you do not take the time to invest in yourself, who will? Yes, God is at work in your life but he has called you to put in work also.
Keep dreaming, achieving and having faith. Do your part, put in work and God will do the rest. There is no point in feeling bad about what you don’t have because there are people who are wishing they had what you do have.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. – Romans 12:12
There are going to many things that you don’t know but don’t let that defeat you. Take it one day at a time, learn a little and continue to plant seeds. Slow progress is better than no progress. Although, I am lost in this business world, eventually I will find my way; I just have to SmileWithFaith.
