1:25 #Birthday Challenge (Believer submitted)

My Birthday is January 25 1991

“I read this post on called The Birthday Challenge. The Challenge was to open The Bible and find scriptures that were the same numbers by the date I was born. This idea never crossed my mind and I was curious if there would be any correlation to myself. Recently, I’ve been praying for God to answer some prayers and what better way to find an answer than His word. I prayed and these were my results”

1) Romans 1:25: They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”

“Don’t worship idols. The Book of Jeremiah. This spoke to me. It’s not just about putting false Gods before God. . .  it’s putting anything before God. I find myself doing this with basketball. God needs to be my priority.”

2) Proverbs 1:25: You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered”

“The Lord is my helper. When He offers His hand, don’t smack it away. Never bite the hand that feeds you.”

3) Genesis 1:25: God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good”

“Life is about multiplying and being fruitful. Animals were good, just as humans were good, at one point in time.”

4) 1 Corinthians 1:25This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength”

“Wow! This is exactly what I needed to read. This is a reminder to myself. Stop relying on my plans and start trusting in God’s plans”

5) Matthew 1:25: “But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus”

“Thank God for the birth of Jesus!”
