Love is in the air

Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. [1 John 4:11-12]

Today is a day of love and what greater love than the love of God. Valentine’s Day is not about who is single, dating or married. It is not about getting gifts and spending money. It is about showing and receiving love. There is no greater love than one who can lay down his own life, and God showed us how great His love is when he sacrificed His one and only son, Jesus. Let’s remember how loved we are by our Father in Heaven and share that love with others. We are God’s hands and feet on this earth and He works through us to reach those in need.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” – Romans 8:28

When we love one another, we are showing the God in us. God is love and His love is made complete in us. Let’s go out into this dark world and be the light. Love on your friends, family, co-workers or complete strangers.
