Running on Holy

Are you running on Holy?

My boo and I were having a conversation which sparked the idea to create this post. Running on Holy is having God as the source of your energy. Just as a car needs fuel to run, we need the Holy Spirit to live. When we find ourselves getting overwhelmed, worrisome or drained with life’s stresses; It is time to fuel up. The problem occurs when we attempt to get fuel from the world. We look to people, money or material possession to bring the happiness, peace and strength we need to regain our energy. Seeking anything from the world will never be filling because it only last temporarily just as energy drink bring a boast of energy but the crash will sorefuelon follow.

Do you feel low in energy? Where do you get your fuel from? Reading the word of God is the best source of fuel. God’s word is food for the soul. It nourishes the Spirit and provides the peace we need to walk by faith and not by sight. We should study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do [Joshua 1:8].

“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.” -Isaiah 55:2
