Feast for 5,000

Matthew 14:13

Jesus just received the news that John the Baptist was beheaded.  YES! He had his head cut off! The moment Jesus found out, he got on a boat; When he landed, there was a crowd of people. The people were sick and asking for healing. Jesus had compassion for them and healed them all.

Later on, the disciples came and told Jesus that they were in a remote place and it was getting late and people were hungry. The disciples wanted to send people into the village to buy themselves some food but Jesus said “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” But the only food they had included: 5 loaves of bread and two fish. When the disciples showed Jesus the little food they had, Jesus replied  “Bring them here to me

Jesus took the 5 loaves of bread and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and gave thanks and began to break off the bread. Everyone ate until they were satisfied and had 12 baskets of left over bread and fish!

What seems like a miracle to us was reality for Jesus christ. Christ had faith that God was able to use him to show his work. God speaks to us through people, and he is able to use those that are willing and able to reach the people he wants too. Miracles are real not because we believe we Can make them come true but because we trust that God Can make miracles come true. We have to trust in God to take us to levels in our life that is beyond human capability. Jesus turned 5 into 5,000+ because he had faith. You can do anything your heart desires! Always Smile With Faith 😉
