12:12 #BirthdayChallenge

Today is my Birthday! I was born 8:19 p.m. on 12/12/89. The number 12 has always shown up throughout my life and it is amazing that God picked it for the day I’d be born. God has a plan for my life, and I pray that He continues to use it through SmileWithFaith, my faith and my heart. These are some 12:12 bible verses in honor of today’s date 12/12.

“Wow! this is a powerful one. Read this a few times and let the Holy Spirit work. God is an amazing God and we should never doubt Him. He is the beginning and the end, nothings comes to pass without His permission. He is a trustworthy God and His plans for our lives are to prosper. Patience is a virtue. It is difficult to receive but once received, it is life changing. The Power of Prayer is life changing. We must be in prayer daily.”

• Proverbs 12:12: “Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.”

“How can we tell a thief from a non-thief? Who is the jealous one?  Jealousy is a bad seed that wasn’t firmly planted and will never bear fruit. But, the Godly are good seeds that will always bear fruit. I pray that Lord removes any ungodly feelings, desires and motives from within my heart. Help me to see others, how he sees them, despite how I may feel. I pray that Holy Spirit leads my life in speech, love and life. I pray for the discernment to see thieves before the come and the wisdom to bear fruit for my seeds.”

• Hebrews 12:12: “So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. 

Tired hands and weak knees are working days. Those days we feel exhausted, tired or frustrated. Keep your heels grounded. Stand firm in your faith. Always be ready and don’t give up. The struggle may never be ending, but the Peace of God is eternal.

• Matthew 12:12 “And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath.”

If Parents can give their children good gifts, how much greater will your Heavenly Father give you? This verse is about respecting the day of Sabbath. In the times of Moses, people lived by rules and laws and the day of Sabbath was honored to be a day of rest and no work. This verse is a response from Jesus to the Pharisees (a.k.a the haters) and Jesus was explaining that the old ways of the law won’t matter without Him. Jesus is the way, the light and the truth. Jesus is God in Human form and sent to bring salvation for all who accept the invitation! (check out “The Parable of Jesus” plan day 10)
